rosé spritzer

One of my favorite summertime indulgences is a chilled glass of rosé. It's delightful on its own but can be dressed up for any occasion. This recipe is simple enough to pull together quickly and makes a big batch, which is perfect for any hostess. (No one wants to spend precious party time mixing individual drinks.) Served with a lemon round, it's a beautiful addition to any get together. Recipe serves 4-6.

INGREDIENTS

2 (750-ml) bottles of rosé wine

1 (750-ml) bottle of seltzer (I used San Pellegrino)

about 15 drops of Angostura bitters

2 lemons, thinly sliced into rounds

ice

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine ingredients in a pitcher, reserving several lemon slices for serving glasses. Serve beverage in wine glasses over ice. Top with a lemon slice.

Try swapping out the seltzer with your favorite fruit-flavored sparkling beverage!
